The
Lakeshore Fiber Arts Guild will present Dolores S. Slowinski on "My
Process: The Physical and Intellectual Play of Ideas" describing her work
with paper, embroidery floss, and fiber on Wed., April 3, at the Holland Area
Arts Council, 150 East 8th St., Holland, MI 49423, starting at
6:00pm.
With
actual pieces, Slowinski will discuss the evolution of her art work and show
details of how she works and thinks to create “Threadlines” (“drawings” on
watercolor paper with pierced holes and embroidery floss), her current focus
since 2009.

Wayne State University. After an active 20-year career as an art reviewer
combined with a 10-year career as an arts administrator, she returned to her
