June 5, Guild Auction

The Lakeshore Fiber Arts Guild’s next meeting will be the annual auction of members’ donated fiber related items on Wed., June 5, at the Holland Area Arts Council, 150 East 8th St., Holland, MI 49423, starting at 6:00pm.

All proceeds from sales of donated items go directly to the guild to support programs. Anything fiber or textile related is welcome.  Here are some possibilities but the list is endless: fabric (remnants, scraps, pieces), lace, clothing (unfinished, vintage, too big, too small, parts of garments), tools (knitting needles, crochet hooks, weaving tools, painting/printing items, stencils, stamps), paints, dyes, baskets, beads, looms, spinning wheels, roving, fleeces, food (!), plants, books, patterns, ribbons, yarn, thread, embroidery floss, needles, papers, felt, DVDs.  Our own Alexa Urquhart will be the auctioneer and Jan Koster her stalwart assistant! Clean out your studio, your closets, and bring in all those items that you don’t want anymore---it will be someone else’s treasures!

The Lakeshore Fiber Arts Guild invites anyone interested in the textile fiber arts to their monthly program meetings held the first Wednesday of each month at the Holland Area Arts Council.
