Our January meeting program was diverse:  first watching a CD describing the workshops at the MLH Summer Workshops next June (registration opens on Feb. 1), then enjoying the results of members' Book Wrap challenge (for those who have them finished) and, of course, Show 'n Tell

Three People have already finished their Book Wraps for the Challenge

Barbara made a wedding book cover for a gift with stitched roses on it.

Jeanne made an interesting cover out of paper, fabric and different types of stitching.

Alexa made a unique cover using crayons and heat setting them.

Thanks for the inspiration girls,

the rest of us will get busy soon.

Show N Tell

Jan brought two doll aprons to show us that matched the ones she made for her granddaughters.

Barbara showed us two shirts that she made out of fleece and of course a matching doll top.

Julia made this beautiful wall hanging on wool felt using an  Eco dyeing technique. The wool felt she finds at Fields Fabrics.

She also made this woven wall hanging using some discarded bamboo thread racks as her base.
