What a fun Christmas Party, we had some wonderful food, enjoyed our ornament exchange, talked about upcoming meetings, had our silent auction, and a very interesting Show 'N Tell.

I will have to say we are a great looking group of fiber artists with very interesting little
ornaments.
February Meeting
Priscilla will teach us Soumak weaving in February. She brought samples and briefly explained what it involves.
I looked for this book online, the cheapest I could find was $70.00

| Jennifer showed her stencils made from hot glue. |

| Jennifer highly recommends this book and it is where she got the information for the hot glue stencils and other printing techniques. |

| Jennifer also brought these samples of very fine paper used in money from Japan. |

| Priscilla is having so much fun with these small weavings. Every week she draws a technique from a card file to see what she will do. She uses black and white and only one other color per week. |

| Marie has a very large list of samples of markers, paints and other media. |
 |
| Patti made this Punch Needle and has gotten permission from an artist to use her drawings with her punch needle. |
 |
| Julie brought this beautiful shawl to show us. Mostly raw edged applique and stitching. |
 |
| Wendy modeled her quilted coat and her sparkly Christmas shirt that she made. The pattern for the coat is New Look 6585. |
