TIMELINE

·         August 15 - Contracts due to HAAC

o   Contact Gargi Hales by August 1 for help with Artist Bio

·         October 5 - 19 - drop off artwork (volunteers maybe help -  TBC)

·         October 22 - December 19 - show in the Lievense Gallery

·         Thursday, October 29, 5:30 - 7:00 pm - Reception

·         January 4, 2027 - Pick up begins - HAAC can store items if people are away.

SIZE AND NUMBER OF ARTWORKS

Aiming for equitable representation with different sizes and kinds of artwork:

·         General - Submit 2 to 4 pieces, understanding perhaps not all will be shown

o   Unused works can be picked up at the reception on October 29.

·         Width is the most important measurement for wall-hanging pieces.

o   Small - up to 12" wide

o   Medium - 14" - 18" wide

o   Large - 20" wide and over

Small (e.g., figurines) - bring all you have; HAAC to choose from selection

·         Large (e.g., quilts, woven shawls, rugs) - consider bringing 1 to 2 large pieces, rather that 3 to 4 small.  Specify if it's fine to drape/fold work or whether it needs to be on full display for viewing.

·         Series - Consider whether your works are a series and can be hung vertically.

·         HAAC would like more pieces to work with than less.

·         Other smaller works can be sold in the Hallway Shop - see contract for details.

DISPLAY

·         Walls - pieces to be hung on nails or rods.

·         Sculptural/3D pieces - light items can hang from ceiling; pedestals available.

·         Garments - HAAC has access to mannequins if needed.  OK to bring own.
