Images from Japan and the Kumihimo Braiding Conference

Jeanne Hoin and Jocelyn Shaw gave a wonderful Power Point presentation on their trip to
Japan to attend the Kumihimo Braiding Conference.
This sounded like a trip of a lifetime.  Made for a fun night. Thank you ladies.

Boro Vest

This is my completed Boro vest...yet to be lined and sewn together... that I started in the MLH workshop in February - IN THE BORO SPIRIT with Lisa Binkley. I did a lot of kantha stitch to quilt it and hold the pieces together on a thin batting base cut to the pattern pieces.

The pillow was a gift from Susan Jansen for Christmas. She put the kit together and I hand stitched and finished.
