Have you ever wanted to create
your own fabrics for quilt making and fiber art? This technique is easy
and creative. Using a Gel Press mono printing plate, high quality acrylic
paints and a variety of marking tools, stamps and stencils you can create
fabrics that will make your next project a true stand out. During
this lecture, demo and trunk show, Nancy will take you through the process of
painting fabrics, explain the supplies and tools needed and show many quilts
she has created.
Check out her website and many you tube videos.

She gets most of her supplies from Joggles but if you use the following address when you order she gets a little of affiliate sales. Use this to order

Mieko Mintz, a Japanese trained fashion designer, uses kantha throws, made from recycled saris in West Bengal to make coats and jackets and other clothing inspired by traditional Japanese kimono design. Her high end clothing can be found on her website - http://www.miekomintz.com or at the Santa Fe Dry Goods store in New Mexico or on the Artful Home website. She sells her dressmaking scraps in her Etsy shop and these are what I use to make my pocket bags.
