MLH Conference, June 2-June 4, 2017 Hope College

The Michigan League of Handweavers' biennial conference will take place at Hope College, Holland MI, from Friday, June 2, through Sunday, June 4.  

Exhibits of Fiber Art, Functional Fiber, Fashion, Fashion Accessories (in Graves Hall), Guilds (Schaap Science), and the Marketplace (Haworth Ballroom) will be free and open to the public.  Please check www.mlhguild.org for exact locations and specific open hours.  

MLH members are an encouraging and enthusiastic group who love to explain and talk about the world of textiles, and look forward to the public visiting. 

AUCTION NIGHT

Not much to say about Auction Night, or exchanging of treasures night.  Some of us had a lot more fun than others, lots of great items to be bid on.  Because of everyone's participation we should have enough money for great speakers for next year.  Thanks everyone and especially Jennifer who organizes all our wonderful speakers. Even the food was exceptional this year. Have a good summer and hope to see everyone in September.
